Are you using the correct Mail Client settings?

The configuration that you must use for your email client or any other program that interacts with your Mail Server hosted in abdicar.com must use a specific configuration that is detailed below.

You must make sure of the following:

   1. Incoming mail server (POP3/IMAP server): mail.yourdomain.com

   2. Outgoing mail server (SMTP server): mail.yourdomain.com

   3. Username: the full e-mail address such as [email protected]

   4. SMTP authentication must be enabled for the login to be successful.

The most common mistake is to leave "My SMTP server requires authentication checkbox" unchecked. This option should always be enabled!

Check connection to port 25.

The standard port usually used for SMTP connections is port 25. Most often, the reason for a failed email sending is that your Internet service provider blocks this port. If this is the case, we have made several recommendations in the blocked SMTP Port 25 article in the Knowledge Base.

Always remember that if you are an abdicar.com customer, you can go to the Customer Portal and contact our personnel who will always be there to provide you with the assistance that you require and resolve any issues that may arise.
